Transform the finance function from a manual, people-dependent system to an integrated automated system linked with all the facets of the business
• Design and implement systems of internal control that minimize loss, ensure compliance with legal requirements and international financial reporting standards
• Align Zimplats financial/accounting processes and practices with Implats Group
• Develop real-time system-generated reports and dashboards for senior management
• Oversee all financial/accounting computer systems to ensure that the company keeps up with new developments and enhancements
• Oversee rollout and training of employees on finance information systems/applications
• Coordinate month-end, quarter, half year, and year-end reporting processes with a view to meeting reporting deadlines
• SHEQ duties and any other duties as assigned
