Overall Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible for staff learning and development activities and leads the performance and competence appraisal process. The incumbent is in charge of coordinating, implementing, promoting, and improving continuously the career management system to ensure the development and retention of the Organisation’s top talents.
Duties & Responsibilities
- determine the best strategy for sourcing candidates, including leveraging on employment agencies, social media, and employee referrals.
- manage the full life cycle of recruitment process from sourcing to offering
- Manage the performance management cycle
- use best practice recruitment methods for assessing talent such as psychometric tests, assessment centres and competency based interviews
- develop and implement a robust training and development program leveraging on external expertise
- coach employees and act as their consultant regarding learning and development activities
- provide innovative and agile learning interventions that meet the changing
cultural and social needs of the business - oversee the development, implementation and embedding of succession planning practices and talent management across the entire organisation to fully utilise the potential of its people and meet future and changing business needs
- lead the effective implementation and measurement of employee capability and competency mastery
- provide guidance on career progression and develop career pathways for employees in consultation with line managers
- Develop training materials and conduct in-house trainings as and when
- evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in any relevant social science degree
- 5 years relevant experience and 2 years must have been in a similar role
