Director Airport Operations

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and supervises all airport operations to ensure that they run efficiently and sustainably.</li> <li>Leads in developing a service model and strategy for airports operations.</li> <li>Develops with guidance from the Board and CEO, the airports development master plan, including the execution of such a plan.</li> <li>Establishes policies, procedures, and performance standards for airport operations. Ensures compliance with such policies and, standards.</li> <li>Ensures compliance with regulations and SARPS as set by the CAAZ and ICAD.</li> <li>Ensures adherence to all security standards within airport operations division.</li> <li>Develops, reviews, and administers division budgets for airports operations.</li> <li>Initiates and conducts negotiation with airlines and prospective tenants and users of the airport facilities.</li> <li>Fostering strong relationships with established and potential customers with a view to increasing the value of Airport sales to all aeronautical and commercial customers, concessionaires, tenants and users.</li> <li>Responsible for improving the airports image and managing external stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensures that security measures are followed, including monitoring surveillance feeds and conducting walkthroughs of the airport to check for potential threats.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>A relevant Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a recognised University;</li> <li>A Master&rsquo;s degree in Business Management, Administration, Leadership or any other relevant Master&rsquo;s degree from a recognised University;</li> <li>A professional qualification in aviation with a bias towards aviation operations;</li> <li>6 years of managerial experience in the aviation field of which a minimum of 3 years must have been in airport operations;</li> <li>Must be a citizen of Zimbabwe.</li> </ul>
