VAN SALES REP

Job Purpose

  • Guiding the van driver on the sales route to follow within the assigned van sales territory.
  • Selling the company’s products to new and existing customers withing the assigned territory
  • Informing existing customers of new products.
  • Ensuring the safety of both the van used for van selling and the company products being transported.
  • Increasing sales by promoting and cross selling products and analysing competitor behaviour in the assigned territory.
  • Accounting for the safe and timeous delivery of purchased products.
  • Collecting and receipting payments for sales made and creating an accurate record of the same.
  • Accounting for cash collected from sales.
  • Maintaining sales and delivery records, including conducting the necessary reconciliations
  • Meeting set daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

Person Profile

  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing
  • Experience in recordkeeping and managing sales contracts.
  • Sound understanding of the selling process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus and negotiating skills.
  • Exceptional ability in meeting sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in identifying new customers and negotiating deals.
  • Professional, ethical and honest
