Leaf Accountant

Qualifications
Minimum of an accounting degree
Must have served articles of clerkship
Minimum of 2 years working experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience in tobacco industry is an added advantage
Attributes
Self-starter
Someone who can work with minimum supervision
Well-disciplined and integrity a must
Must meet reporting deadlines
Main Duties:
Posting of source documents into the ledger
Bank reconciliations
Creditors reconciliations
General Ledger reconciliations
Generating payments
All statutory payments and ZIMRA issues
Accounting for leaf stock
Stock reconciliations
Invoicing and preparation of export documents before shipping the leaf.
Acquittal of CD1 forms.
Preparation of monthly financial statement
Preparation of audit file and liaising with auditors
Someone who can to the dirty work, not the reviewer type
Driver's licence is an added advantage
