Building Comissioner

Purpose of the Job

To facilitate in the maintenance and proper functioning of the building/property.

The Job Entails:

• Checking and monitoring the smooth function of elevators/lifts
• Recording elevator anomalies in the foyer
• Generating reports on faulty elevator errors and recording the same
• Attending to queries from tenants
• Monitoring foyer activities
• Logging of visitors and foyer tenants
• Monitoring building’s cameras, fire panels, fire escape doors and intruder alerts
• Logging building contractors in and out
• Handling the disposal of garbage for the building’s tenants.

Qualifications

• 5 “O” Levels including English
• Professional qualification such as certificate in Plumbing , Engineering , electrical , etc
• At least 5 years relevant experience

Skills Required

• Ability to fix minor jobs and breakdowns on the building/property
• High levels of honesty and intergrity
• Self motivated person who should be available for emergencies during weekends and after hours
• Must be able to work long hours under minimum supervision
• Good command of spoken English
