Gardener/Guard/ General Hand Job Description
To keep the premises in good condition taking care of landscaping of the plot. The individual is also meant to also work as a guard maintaining safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
Duties and responsibilities
- Landscaping
- Maintaining lawn, flowers and other gardening activities (lawn mowing, watering garden)
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers into premises.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience especially in a landscaping company.
- Able to communicate in English
