ICT Engineer

<ul><br /> <li>Providing technical expertise for IT network design, implementation, optimization and upgrade.</li> <br /> <li>Monitoring the LAN/WAN network environment including routers, switches, firewalls, Internet access and software applications.</li> <br /> <li>Installation, configuration and maintenance of [Windows Servers, Linux and Cisco infrastructure] system network components.</li> <br /> <li>Performing troubleshooting and diagnosis to hardware/software network failures, and providing resolutions.</li> <br /> <li>Ensuring that ICT systems are operating effectively with minimal down time to avoid any disruptions to the Authority&rsquo;s activities.</li> <br /> <li>Ensuring the smooth running of all application systems including email, internet and the website.</li> <br /> <li>Providing first line support for all departments and resolving queries quickly and proactively and helping users use systems correctly.</li> <br /> <li>Performing backups and data recovery procedures to ensure availability of needed information at all times.</li> <br /> <li>Ensuring that changes to application software are well documented for future reference.</li> <br /> <br /> </ul>
