  • Providing technical expertise for IT network design, implementation, optimization and upgrade.

  • Monitoring the LAN/WAN network environment including routers, switches, firewalls, Internet access and software applications.

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of [Windows Servers, Linux and Cisco infrastructure] system network components.

  • Performing troubleshooting and diagnosis to hardware/software network failures, and providing resolutions.

  • Ensuring that ICT systems are operating effectively with minimal down time to avoid any disruptions to the Authority’s activities.

  • Ensuring the smooth running of all application systems including email, internet and the website.

  • Providing first line support for all departments and resolving queries quickly and proactively and helping users use systems correctly.

  • Performing backups and data recovery procedures to ensure availability of needed information at all times.

  • Ensuring that changes to application software are well documented for future reference.
