Credit Controller

<p><strong>MAIN DUTIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactive management and collection of debt</li> <li>Evaluates and suggests creditworthiness of prospects and customers to decrease financial risk to the organization</li> <li>Maintaining close relations with debtors to ensure timely payment of debts</li> <li>Following up on overdue payments</li> <li>Posting receipts and preparing reconciliations</li> <li>Keep record or file of credit transactions, deposits, and payments, and sends letters or confers with customers having delinquent accounts to make payment.</li> <li>Prepare accounts receivables reconcilliations.</li> <li>Develop and maintain sound relationships with supplier&rsquo;s/principals&rsquo; finance personnel on set offs</li> <li>Manage and pay exceptional suppliers through set offs</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>BSc Honors Degree in Accounting.</li> <li>At least 5 Years&#39; experience in credit control in a medium or large organization.</li> <li>Proficiency with SAGE Evolution.</li> <li>Class 4 driver&rsquo;s license</li> </ul>
