Employment Background Check Practices In Zimbabwe

This research represents the most comprehensive examination of employment background check practices in Zimbabwe to date, analyzing data from 122 organizations across 16 industry sectors. The findings reveal a paradoxical situation: while organizational commitment to background checks is high (89.7% adoption), the verification ecosystem is severely compromised by systemic corruption, widespread credential fraud, and unreliable reference systems.
